Discover the Benefits of Glutathione — The Body’s Master Antioxidant
Discover the Benefits of Glutathione — The Body’s Master Antioxidant.
I’d like to share information about an important antioxidant that plays a central role in
maintaining your health and vitality — Glutathione.
Glutathione is often referred to as the body’s “master antioxidant” because it helps protect your
cells from damage, supports natural detoxification, and strengthens your immune system.
Unfortunately, levels of this vital molecule tend to decline with age, stress, poor nutrition, or
environmental exposure.
Potential benefits of Glutathione supplementation include:
• Supporting cellular detoxification and liver health
• Enhancing energy and mental clarity
• Promoting healthy, radiant skin
• Strengthening immune defense
• Helping protect against oxidative stress that contributes to slow the aging effect to our
cells.
• What is the best way to take Glutathione?
• Oral Glutathione (capsules, tablets, oral liquid) , its not recommended ,since it is
destroyed by the stomach acid first and by intestinal enzymes called peptidases later in
the small intestine , which renders it not longer active, therefore the more effective way is
to take it either by injections , IV therapy or transdermally.
Clinical Implications
• Because of this degradation, standard oral glutathione supplements have poor systemic
bioavailability. (effectiveness in your body).
• To improve absorption and protection against gastric breakdown, several formulations
have been developed:
• Transdermally, skin lotion. ( Glutaryl)
• S-acetyl-glutathione.
• IV or S/C injections of Gluthatione.
Precursors such as N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC), which supports endogenous
synthesis.
At our clinic, we use IV or subcutaneous injections of Glutathione as part of a comprehensive
health optimization and longevity protocols ,and recommended Glutaryl skin application for
continues home use to aiming to restore balance and promote long-term wellness.
Please note: Glutathione supplementation (oral, IV, or injection forms) has not been evaluated or
approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the diagnosis, treatment, or
prevention of disease. It is offered as a wellness and antioxidant support therapy, based on
emerging research and clinical experience.
If you’d like to learn more or discuss whether Glutathione could be beneficial for your wellness
plan, we’d be happy to schedule a consultation.
